Matthew is a shining star at SES! 🌟

Fourth graders participated in a virtual field trip conducted by NASA at Wallops Island to learn about life on other planets. This connected to what they learned in the science fiction short story "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury that they read in their Wit and Wisdom reading program. They also learned about careers at NASA from parents Ben Carvantes and Dr. Denise Cervantes.

Tucker was nominated and chosen to get a free book today for the weekly book drawing. Congratulations, Tucker!

Students in Makerspace coding their critters! Our innovators explored sequencing and problem-solving with Coding Critters today!

Our Pre-K 4 learners transformed the Makerspace room into Santa's workshop! Students baked, built, and constructed their own fun!

Students in Mrs. Lovell's 4th grade class wrote Christmas cards to those serving our country at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. This was extra special since Juliet's
brother (and former SES student) is stationed there!

A wonderful visit to Showell Elementary! Our young artists and musicians are doing incredible things. In music, students were learning notation with finger castanets, exploring form through movement and scarves, and even celebrating the season with music from The Nutcracker. In art, classrooms were bursting with creativity—watercolor fall leaves and stunning pieces inspired by Yayoi Kusama and Georgia O’Keeffe. #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAliveInWorcester
