February is nationally celebrated as Black History Month. In honor of Black History Month, SDMS is highlighting a notable male or female of African American heritage every school day of the month, their accomplishments, and influence on American history. SDMS Bulldog Families: Just a reminder that SDMS will be dismissing early tomorrow at 12:00pm.
In order to accommodate for High School exams and transportation, SDMS will be dismissing early at 12:00pm on January 29th and 30th.
Also, SDMS will be closed to students for a Professional Day on January 31st.
A HUGE shoutout goes to Popeye's in West Ocean City and those who contributed towards our No Cook Night! All funds that were raised go towards our PBIS program.

Just a reminder about our Popeye's fundraiser tonight! Enjoy a no cook night out with the family! Go to the Popeye's in West Ocean City between 4:00pm and 8:00pm to participate.
Check out the amazing work from Mrs. Ouellet's 7th grade Health classes. These anti-vaping posters were created to bring awareness about the dangers of vaping. The "Smile of Lifetime" Poster Contest was sponsored by Caitlin Vega from the Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center.
