Just a reminder of the upcoming informational meeting for parents and families of current 8th graders!

SDMS is so grateful to Mr. Henry for allowing us to highlight his work and lending us prints of his beautiful series to showcase in our school this month!

Mr. Henry's interest and talent in art began at an early age- right here in Berlin!

At this time, Stephen Decatur Middle School is conducting a school safety drill. There is no emergency at this time; however, access to our school may be limited until the drill is completed. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

You are invited to join the Special Education Citizens Advisory Council for an engaging and informative session on managing behaviors at home. Mark your calendar for February 24, 11:00 - 1:30! This session will be held at the Board of Education Building.

IMPORTANT: Due to inclement weather conditions, Worcester County Public Schools will open two hours late on Friday, February 21, 2025. Buses will operate accordingly.

Students will have 5 days upon return to SDMS to complete missing assignments due to lack of access to a device or WiFi.

IMPORTANT: Due to anticipated inclement weather conditions, Worcester County Public Schools will be closing schools three hours early on February 19, 2025. Buses will operate accordingly. Please be advised that all after school, evening and Adult Education classes have been cancelled.
