Big congratulations to our high school Business & Marketing students for their outstanding performance in the Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore #StockMarketChallenge! 📈 🏦
Two of our teams rose to the top, finishing 3rd and 4th overall while managing $1 million in virtual investments. Their impressive strategies resulted in gains of approximately 34% and 26%, an incredible achievement in a competitive field of 38 teams. 👏👏

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association has named its National Academic Teams for the 2025 season, and Stephen Decatur High School was well represented with 15 juniors and seniors, including four Scholars of Distinction.
National Academic Squad: Jillian Burton, Tilly Callahan, Bailey Griffin, Kamryn Hitchens, Nicole Mays, Morgan Michalski, Elizabeth Palmer, Reagan Reed, Marley Rill, Emily Skipper, & Reese Whitaker.
Scholars of Distinction: Halle Marshal, Kate Miller-Vail, Megan Sandt, & Avari Shoff.
In addition to the National Academic Teams, one player, Bailey Griffin, was selected to the prestigious National Senior Impact Team honoring not only academic achievements, but also leadership, service, and impact beyond the field. Griffin was one of only 15 players across the state and one of only 209 players across the country.

Morgan’s Message Pickleball a Big Dill! 🥒
Our 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament, proudly sponsored by our Morgan’s Message Club 🦋, was a great success! From exciting rallies to lots of laughter, it was incredible to see everyone come together for such a meaningful cause.
Morgan’s Message is a nationwide movement dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in the student-athlete community. Our group works to create safe spaces for open conversations, promote mental wellness, and ensure that no athlete feels alone in their journey.
All proceeds from the tournament go toward funding future club initiatives, events, and mental health advocacy efforts—helping us continue to make an impact both on and off the courts, tracks, pools, rinks, fields, etc.
Thank you to everyone who played, supported, and made this event so special, and congratulations to this year’s winners: Sam Krasner and Brody Kendall!

When young leaders step up, hope grows. 💙 Students from Stephen Decatur High School’s National Honor Society, led by April and Sophia, brought creativity and heart to our SOLD OUT - Bingo For Hope 💙 event by creating Mystery Boxes packed with gift cards and jewelry donated by generous local businesses.
These surprise boxes added even more excitement to the night and helped raise $1,000 for Diakonia, supporting individuals, families, and Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness across Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.
A special thank you to the students and advisors who made this possible. Your leadership is proof that when community and compassion come together, hope wins big. 💙
