We got to celebrate our hardworking 4th graders today with a full day of fun! Students got to relax and enjoy rotations through bingo, glow coloring, board and card games, a STEM challenge, and legos. We are so proud of how hard they worked during MCAP these last two weeks!

A couple of Third Graders enjoy a Campfire/Flashlight 100 Book reading block. A relaxing way to close out a tough week of testing. Congrats to Grade 3 and Grade 4 on your conclusion of MCAP.

Mrs. Bleinberger's class had a great time in the mobile science lab the past two weeks. Their lessons talked about wildlife in the wetlands and oyster conservation. We are so excited to learn about science that relates to our amazing community!

WCPS Families, to stem any confusion, please be aware that school is in session tomorrow, April 23.
In August 2023, the Board of Education adopted a calendar revision moving the Countywide PD Day from April 23, to May 14, to align with the Presidential Primary election date. As this change occurred prior to the start of the school year, all of our countywide calendars have accurately reflected this information since that time.

See it. Hear it. Report it.
With Safe Schools Maryland, there are many ways you can submit an anonymous tip in uncomfortable situations. Save this information to use for reporting. #WeAreWorcester #PartnershipsInAction

Congratulations to Colton Ward, Saylor Miller, and Lola Mastromanolis for being winners in this year's American Legion essay contest!

Worcester County Public Schools will open one-hour late today, Wednesday, April 3, due to foggy conditions. Buses will operate accordingly. All school programs will begin following the one-hour delay.

An awesome partner reading pair during 100 Book......even though they stole their third grader teacher's rolling chair...:)

Happy Easter from a few 3rd Graders at Showell Elementary.
