Students created a tableau to retell "Wild About Books"!



Students in PreK are excited to start their hundred book challenge!


Children sorted fossil cards based off of traits and then a fellow third grader presented an actual fossil to his classmates.






Third Grade pairs partner read and annotate Amos & Boris.





Partners in Grade 3 math develop posters to share multiple strategies to add three digit numbers.

3rd graders think of our custodians here at Showell as kindness heroes. They realize how dedicated those men and women are and honored them with posters.




During the first full week of school, the students in Mrs. Cole and Ms. Gault's Pre-K 4 class explored colors. They worked as a whole group and in small groups to identify and match colors.

In honor of 9/11, students in Mrs. Singer's 4th grade class had a morning circle about what it means to be a hero, they then created a class quilt of ideas showing what they think it means to be a hero.



Students use a jigsaw approach to conquer a task. This was during a third grade reading class. Nicely done!!
